Remarks Occurs in shallow waters and along the coast. On seabeds with loose organic material and sediment. Also near mangroves, white coral seabeds on the rear of a barrier reef (Ref. 2352) and seagrass beds (Ref. 98471). Mainly feeds on eels of the families Ophichthidae and Congridae (Ref. 2352).
