Max. size:  15 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Atlantic, Northern Pacific and Arctic Ocean. Mostly polar, but also in subtropical and boreal.
Diagnosis:  Up to 15 cm wide, with 8 broad marginal lobes,16 clefts in states of contraction; all canals except the 8 adrarial profusely branched, numerous lateral diverticula, forming numerous anastomoses; disk yellow, margin brown.
