Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic and the Arctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Sympagic. Lives on the underside of ice floes all year round but is also found in the open ocean (Ref. 118204). Also found on hard bottom (Ref. 117453). Feeds on ice algae and calanoid copepods (Ref. 118204).
