Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 2670 m
Distribution:  Arctic, Northern Pacific, Northern Atlantic and Antarctic Atlantic. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in coasts (Ref. 422); in muddy sediments (Ref. 1578); and, in a crater of a marine volcano (Ref. 1589). It's a predator (Ref. 96501) and an omnivorous species and feeds on tissues of macrobenthic species (Ref. 95790).
