Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 30 m
Distribution:  Indo-Western Pacific: Philippines to Java and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are flat and encrusting with circular corallites that are uniformly spaced and separated by blistery coenosteum. Walls are thin and septa are well developed, thin and straight. The colony surface is covered by a mass of slightly extended tentacles. Pale brown in color.
Biology:  Found in shallow reef environments (Ref. 847).
