Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 105057. Intertidal (Ref. 105057). Scaphopods are selective microcarnivores, feeding on microscopic organisms particularly forams. It also feeds on juvenile bivalves and kinorhynchs. Some species may be selective detritivores (Ref. 833).
