pole & line
(English) Skipjack tuna and albacore are concentrated around a fishing vessel by the release of quantities of small bait fish. Fishermen use a stout fishing rod with several meters of line and a barbless hook attached, to flick striking tuna onto the deck. (See also: bait, tunas)
