Definition of Term

fully fished
(English) A stock where current catches are close to the maximum sustainable yield or maximum average yield. Increases in fishing effort would not increase significantly the yields and would substantially increase the risk of overfishing. (See also: maximum sustainable yield, fishing effort, overfishing)
