interneural bones
(english) The bones situated between the neural spines of the vertebrae that are situated before the dorsal fin and do not support fin rays (called interneurals or pre-dorsal bones), or that support one or more dorsal-fin spine or ray (called pterygiophores). (See also: dorsal fin, fin rays, vertebrates)
