Northern Pacific: Japan, Canada and USA. Climate: boreal to subtropical.
Found in sand-mud shores along the mid- to high intertidal zone (Ref. 95344). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
