Eastern Pacific: Easter Island and French Polynesia.
Shell is small and white, broadly oval and elevated. Apex is posteriorly directed and about 1/4 of the total length from the posterior margin. Strongly cancellated by axial ribs and concentric lirae.
Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
