Known from mangroves (Ref. 86642), sounds, caves, Shallow Coastal benthic habitats (< 25 m) and deeper coastal substrates (25- 100m) of the offshore fore-reef slope (Ref. 86643). Members of the order Anthoathecata are mostly colonial A-form hydroids. Life cycle: The zygote develops into planula inside the gonophore and is later released as an actinula which metamorphoses into polyp stage (Ref. 833).
