Oviparous; simultaneous spawner. Oogenesis lasts for 4 months; spermatogenesis lasts for 2.5 months. Oocyte development is synchronous, takes place in the mesohyl; spermatozoa development is asynchronous, within the cyst scattered around the mesohyl.
