It is found on rocks in shallow waters and they usually occupy the shells of snails Lithopoma and Tegula (Ref. 865). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833). Also Refs. 78177, 111898, 111904 (Ref. 56049).
