It has lengths of 15 cm, Maximum total body length; between 2.5 and 7 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). Occurs in shallow waters, in or near reefs (Ref. 4). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
