Remains inactive in crevices and under rocks during the day in the littoral fringe or upper eulittoral zone. During low tide at night, it emerges to graze on algal films covering rocks (Ref. 102838). Members of the order Systellommatophora are mostly simultaneous hermaphrodites (Ref. 833).
