Sometimes captured in great quantities in deep-water prawn nets (Ref. 349). Also found in shelf zones (Ref. 349). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
