Known from low tide to 30 m, under stones (Ref. 337). Living among rocks near low-water mark, fairly common in places (Ref. 88739). Members of the order Neogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
