Southeast Pacific: Endemic to Easter Island.
Under rocks in tide pools and from tide line to a short distance above (Ref. 87884). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
