Carapace pear-shaped, with 2 pronounced rostral horns. Color: brown overall.
Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Occurs from intertidal areas to a depth of 40 m. Found on rocks, especially near reefs. Benthic (Ref. 343). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
