This species is found in offshore areas, coral reefs, mangroves and cienaga facies, particularly on algae, rock, sand and seagrass habitats (Ref. 83934). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
