It is found on sand, shell debris bottoms and red algae from the lower intertidal to a depth of 110 meters (Ref. 87801). Members of the order Archaeogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
