It has lengths of 35 cm, total body length; 11 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). Known from depths between 2 and 91 m on a sandy substrate, sometimes mixed with mud, shells or corals (Ref. 4). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
