First cave chaetognath. Depth range based on holotype locality (Ref. 3650); to be replaced with a better reference. Inhabits caves (Ref. 3650). Members of the phylum Chaetognatha are hermaphroditic. Mating behavior: A preliminary visual signaling behavior for species recognition is observed to prevent predation. Life cycle: Eggs directly develop into miniature adults (hatchlings) (Ref. 833).
