Remarks	Usually found in estuaries, along the intertidal zone buried in mud and sand; may be up to 50 cm or more deep in the substrate; with its short siphon, feeds from burrowing shrimp and echiurid worm burrows (Ref. 95344). Commensal with Urechis caupo (Ref. 1175).
