Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: South Africa, Madagascar and Red Sea to Japan Australia and the Pacific Islands. Tropical and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on shallow infra-tidal (Ref. 333) and intertidal reef flats to depths of 75 m (Ref. 69553). Subtidal (Ref. 106854).
