Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: East and South Africa to Japan, Australia and Tuamotu Archipelago.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Intertidal to subtidal (Ref. 106854). Found on dead corals in reef flats and occasionally in living corals and sponges to a depth of 32 m (Ref. 69553).
