Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean, Antarctic Indian Ocean, Southwest Pacific: Kerguelen, Antarctica and Australia. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth estimate based on the general depth of its host Catostylus mosaicus (Ref. 119690). Solitary (Ref. 2377). Parasitic on the jellyfish C. mosaicus, observed between May and September (Ref. 119598).
