Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 25 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the Red Sea and northern Indian Ocean to Melanesia; north to China and south to Queensland and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in intertidal areas in sand and rocks (Ref. 75831).
