Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean: Scotland to Azores and Morocco, east to Tunisia and Lebanon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Live-bearing (Ref. 201). Occurs occasionally in shallow water, typically in pools (Ref. 201). Known from infralittoral zones (Ref. 85338). Solitary (Ref. 2377).
