Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 62 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea to Eastern Pakistan, south to Madagascar and Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth range and maximum size based from original description (Ref. 132936). Found nearshore, on silty sand, sand, rubble, and gravel from 0 to 62 meters (Ref. 132936).
