Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Encrusting. Three cycles of septa present; tertiaries small, with distinct corresponding costae. Some with principal septae between 1 to 5, with elongated tertiaries (Ref. 88968). Calices may be sub-cerioid to plocoid. Color varies from cream to light brown, grey, or bright green (Ref. 130769).
Biology:  Maximum depth based on Ref. 88968. Occurs on intertidal rock pools, subtidal reefs and boulder substrata (Ref. 88997). Known to encrust over Lithophyllum at a depth of 36 m (Ref. 88968). Popular with borers: bivalves, barnacles, and polychates (Ref. 130769).
