Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 180 m
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found from the intertidal zones to a depth of 10 m. Feeds on several species of campanularid hydroids (Ref. 866).
