Its body length is 0.6 to 1.1 cm. It has a light to dark grey appearance because of its whitish color and black chromatophores. In both live and preserved specimens, it has large black anterio-lateral eyes that reaches to posterior end of cephalon. Its rostrum is well developed separating bases of the antennae. |
| Inhabits shallow waters (Ref. 3113), in the swash zone where it burrows in the sand during low tide (Ref. 87801). Scavenger (Ref. 87801). |
