Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 220 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on sandy areas with coral rubble (Ref. 115900). This is a nocturnal species (Refs. 85218, 129602). Detritivorous deposit feeder (Ref. 108124). Found among rocks and boulders. Prefers waters deeper than 10m (Ref. 129602).
