Max. size:  55 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: New Caledonia, Palau and Philippines.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on sandy areas also on dead coral down to 20 m; covered with a layer of sand (Ref. 800).
