Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 10 - 40 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: New Caledonia and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on gray bottoms in the middle of a lagoon. Highly cautious snake. Actively feeds on prey in burrows made by fishes in sediments (Ref. 2352).
