Family:  Penaeidae (penaeid shrimps)
Max. size:  5.5 cm TL (male/unsexed); 8.8 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 5 - 9 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: India to Vietnam and north Borneo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Juveniles found in intertidal mud flats (Ref. 121464). Also found in seagrass and mangrove, in mud, sand and shells (Ref. 121467).
