Max. size:	4 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:	sessile; marine; depth range 1 - 100 m
Distribution:	Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:	Massive globular buried under the sand with projecting cylindrical fistules that have smooth ends, or pagoda-shaped projections; 2 - 4 cm wide; 0.1 cm thick. Dirty-white to cream in color (Ref. 415).
Biology:	In Bocas del Torro, Panama the species is on seagrass beds; 1 to 3 m deep. The species reported from 50 to 100 deep (Ref. 415). Small and cryptic, partly buried in sediment (Ref. 086786).
