Max. size:  4.7 cm TL (male/unsexed); 7.3 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 24 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indian Ocean: South Africa to India and Sri Lanka.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Carapace length: 0.7 to 1.85 cm (Ref. 8). Maximum depth from Ref. 801. From coast to depths of 50 m (Ref. 8). Also in estuarine habitats (Ref.107340).
