Max. size:  19 cm TL (male/unsexed); 30 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 2 - 350 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth range from Ref. 121730. Adults are found in marine environment while juveniles are found in estuarine environments (Ref. 8). Inhabits both coastal waters (Ref. 121731) and in deeper waters offshore (Ref. 121733). Found over sandy bottoms at depths of 2-350 m or deeper. Juveniles are found on abundant in seagrasses (Ref. 121734) and can be found on bare and vegetated bottom in estuaries and oceanic embayments (Ref. 121730).
