Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: Canary Islands and North Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  'armata', probably because of the spines on the shell (Ref. 127136). Dwells in rocky, hard substrates or sandy mud rich in weeds (Ref. 129094).
