Shallow lateral horizontal cephalic furrows give the blunt head a bilobed appearance when viewed laterally. Firm body gradually narrows posteriorly, ending in a blunt rounded tail. General body color is off-white to creamish-brown, having specks of dark brown granules on the dorsal and lateral surfaces. Head is marked by a helmet-like color pattern of brown pigment. |
