Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean, Indo-Pacific and the Antarctic: Circumpolar, southern hemisphere; South America.
Diagnosis:

May alternate feeding on squids and fishes, depending on time of the day and access to seamount and continental slope areas (Ref. 118697).
