Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 5 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Shell pyramidal with angular body whorl and flat base. Exterior highly sculptured with thick, rounded oblique ribs, at least on the lower half of each whorl (Ref. 128042).
Biology:  Locally collected for food (Refs. 349, 128042). Commonly found on rocky shores (Ref. 75835), usually in muddy areas (Ref. 128042).
