Distribution:  Northern Pacific and Northeast Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found under stones or among Laminaria sp. roots near low tide mark (Ref. 907), common among algae, ascidians, and encrusting growths on rocks and piers (Ref. 966).
