Max. size:  9.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 2 - 40 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: from Paita, Peru to Valparaiso, Chile; Endemic to west coast of South America.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found in the infralittoral zone (Ref. 105146). Found on rocky substrates and mixed sandy bottoms at intertidal and subtidal depths between 2 and 40 m (122167). Species belonging to the subfamily Rapaninae are known to be dominant molluscan predators on tropical rocky shores (Ref. 105330).
