Diagnosis:	Stiff to hard. Globular to massive-amorphous with velvety-hispid surface; often buried in sediments or in hard substratum crevices. Pointed or lobed projecting elevations, sometimes with branchlets. Color: light brown-cinnamon to yellowish. Consistency: crumbly, hard, tough.
Biology:	Found in mangroves (Ref. 86836).
