Max. size:  6.5 cm SHH (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from East and Southeast Africa to eastern Indonesia; north to Japan and south to Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Artisanally collected for food in Indo-China (Ref. 348). In coral sand and muddy-sand flats of sheltered areas. Often forming large beds (Ref. 348).
