Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: sub-Antarctic islands.
Diagnosis:  Thallus sac-like, clavate, often filled with water, much attenuated below as a slender, usually simple stipe of about 1 cm long. Tends to form colonies. Thalli arises from a common basal crust (Ref. 26875).
Biology:  Found in the intertidal and upper infra-littoral zones (Ref. 26875).
